Dear Marshall University Community,
We finished the campus visits by our five presidential finalists yesterday afternoon. There was a tremendous turnout both in person and virtually for the visits, and the Board of Governors and search committee appreciate each and every one of you who have taken part in the process.
Thank you, also, to everyone who filled out the surveys to give the board your impressions of the individual candidates. Board members received the survey comments about each finalist the day after the candidate’s campus visit ended, and will hold a special meeting tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 21, at 4 p.m. to discuss the candidates in executive session.
There is still time to give the board input before a final decision is made at our Oct. 28 meeting. If you would like to offer overall feedback about the candidates now that all the visits are over and you have had time to reflect, please complete the online feedback form on the presidential search website. The comments received through this form will be shared with board members before Thursday afternoon’s meeting.
