Counseling Center Workshops & Support Groups – Spring Semester
Explore opportunities to connect, grow, and care for your mental wellness through our therapeutic workshops and support groups. All offerings are free and open to currently enrolled students. Registration is required.

Description:
This workshop is designed to help students build self-awareness, reflect on emotions, and explore personal growth. Participants will learn the benefits of journaling and engage with journaling prompts to support mental and emotional well-being.

Craft Your Calm

Join us for mindful making designed to help reduce anxiety and support grounding. Through artful activities, you’ll practice present-moment awareness, relaxation, and creative expression — helpful tools for managing stress.

Gro Therapy
Meeting Time: Wednesdays at 3:30 PM
Location: The Green House (dress comfortably)
Description:
Experience the therapeutic benefits of gardening and enjoy nature. Through hands-on activities, you’ll nurture plants while cultivating calm, patience, and connection with others.
Parenting Group: “Doing It All?”
Meeting Time: Last Friday of the month | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: East Hall 115
Description:
Parenting can be rewarding and overwhelming. This group creates space to share challenges, build supportive skills, and explore strategies for balancing responsibilities with self-care.
Fostering Independence
Meeting Time: Every other Thursday | 1:00 – 2:00 PM
Location: East Hall 217

Description:
Focus on developing confidence and practical life skills in a supportive group setting. Together, we’ll explore problem-solving, personal goal setting, and ways to strengthen autonomy.
