Testing Assistance

  • Students must be registered with the Office of Accessibility and Accommodations and approved to take their exams with our office.
  • Students must request and schedule testing assistance at least two business days prior to the scheduled exam.
  • All requests sent on the weekend will be processed on the following Monday.
  • Students are required to communicate with their professor(s) on their intention to take their exams with OAA.
  • If the student’s exam, with their extended time, conflicts with getting to another class on time, they are requested to contact Julie Dial (ramey34@marshall.edu) or 304-696-2271 before scheduling the exam.
  • Students must know that the Office of Accessibility and Accommodations cannot approve a request to take an exam on another day and time without the professor’s consent, as our job is only to administer the exam.
  • In case the student has not received a confirmation email from the Office of Accessibility and Accommodations, please contact Julie Dial (ramey34@marshall.edu) or 304-696-2271 to make sure she has received the exam request.

Note: Business Days at Marshall University are strictly Monday through Friday, excluding Saturday and Sunday.
