Banned Books 2020 – For Goodness Sex: Changing the Way We Talk to Teens About Sexuality

Marshall University does not ban books! The information is provided to let people know what has been banned/challenged elsewhere.

2020

A parent in Oregon filed a request for reconsideration form, asking, “Do I really want my 12 year old to know how do girls have sex? or how 2 guys dance together? O learn crude terms and names for body parts?” The book was retained, but moved from the young adult section to the parenting section, which was the book’s intended audience.
