Graduate Certificate in Behavioral Statistics
The Graduate Certificate in Behavioral Statistics offers a comprehensive array of statistical tools and analyses that will enable those who complete the certificate to have both private and public sector opportunities. The certificate focuses on helping students develop marketable skills, including the use of modern technology to develop ethical and empirically sound research methods and materials, conduct statistical analyses, and present results for behavioral sciences research and program evaluation.
Admissions
Applicants interested in the certificate-only program should apply for admission to Marshall University as a Certificate. Professional Development student and select on the application form the Certificate in Behavioral Statistics. The Admissions requirements for the certificate program is the same as for the M.A. program in Psychology. All credits earned in the Graduate Certificate Program in Behavioral Statistics may be applied to a master’s degree. For example, PSY 517 is a current requirement for the master’s degree in Psychology. Other credits earned in the behavioral statistics program may be applied in part to the elective hours required for the M.A. degree in Psychology.
