We are excited to invite you and your students to the Marshall University School of Art & Design’s Career Exploration Day. This event promises to be an enriching experience for both educators and students, featuring a day filled with creativity, inspiration, and artistic exploration.

Workshops/Demonstrations:
Workshops/Demos will run approximately every 30 minutes and groups of students can move freely between them in the Visual Art Center (VAC). Groups can travel between the VAC and the Art Warehouse (see bus parking locations below). Group travel times will be scheduled once schools have RSVP’d.
Workshops and Demonstrations include: Ceramics, Fibers, Filmmaking, Graphic Design, Photography, Projection Mapping, Sculpture, Foundations and more!
Workshop/Demonstration Locations:
• Visual Art Center 927 Third Avenue, Huntington
• Art Warehouse, 209 21st Street (caddy corner from Tic Toc Tire)
FAQ:
• Light refreshments will be served during SOAD Career Exploration day, your students can bring their own lunch or dine at one of the many restaurants near the Visual Arts Center.
• Bus parking will be available on the day of the event at Harris Riverfront Park and on the southeast corner of the Football Stadium parking lot (5th avenue and 20th Street). Workshops/Demonstrations will take place in the Visual Art Center (VAC) and at the Art Warehouse. To facilitate transportation, it would be best if buses could transport students to both the VAC and Art Warehouse for when students will attend those workshops. A suggested schedule will be posted to ensure that groups can attend these events in both locations.
