Business Plan for Restoration, Renovation and Operations
In Spring 2016, Marshall students from the Department of Political Science and the Public Administration program collaborated with the Keith Albee Performing Arts Center and its Foundation (K-PAC) to create a business plan that would position the historic, atmospheric theater to make important changes in its mission and structure as it adapts to the needs of a new century.
Using data, non profit management literature, and interviews with community stakeholders, the students produced a report that addressed the current problems, future needs, and overall capital improvements necessary for the complete restoration and renovation the theater. They provided several suggestions based on their finds.
