Information for Investigators
If you are conducting a background check on a current or former student, the Office of Student Advocacy and Accountability (OSAA) will not release any information to an investigator without receiving written consent from the student to release his/her records.
All investigators who choose to visit our office to complete background check must present the following information to OSAA before receiving any information:
- Personal security credentials (e.g. Investigator ID badge)
- A form of written consent from the student permitting OSAA to release their records.
Investigators are encouraged to fax or email their background check clearance form to OSAA a minimum of 5 business days in advance of their visit.
