We’d Love to Work With You!

The Office of Student Conduct provides a variety of services for the University community in fulfillment of its mission to foster a campus community that protects the health, welfare, safety, property, and rights of all members. If you are interested in collaborating with our office, we are happy to meet with your department, organization or group.

We ask that you request a program a month in advance to ensure we have adequate time to plan and prepare. If you need a program sooner than that, please note that we may not be able to meet your request.

Programs We Offer
Our office has a variety of programs we can provide your group:

  1. The Office of Student Conduct Introduction – a 1 hour session where we will give an overview of the services provided by the Office of Student Conduct to support the University community. Find out how our office can support your office or organization. Topics will include: the Student Code of Conduct, Student Conduct Procedures, how to submit a report, etc.
  2. Behavioral Intervention Team Introduction – a 1 hour session where we go over what BIT is and how to utilize it. This also includes tips and tricks for identifying and working with students in crisis (this program is intended for faculty/staff but can be adapted to student groups upon request).
  3. Conflict Resolution – a 1 hour workshop about how to navigate conflict and resolve it appropriately. Participants identify their own conflict styles. This session will present the benefits & drawbacks of each conflict style and how best to work with people with styles different than their own. Role plays, scenarios, and/or group activities can be integrated into this session.
  4. Advocate Training – a 1 hour workshop on how to navigate the Advocate Software (This session is for authorized users of Advocate only).

If you are not interested in the above programs and have another idea for a program you would like to collaborate with our office on, feel free to include this in your request.
