The Marshall Theatre Department has listed upcoming meetings for majors as well as auditions for the first two productions of the year.
Meetings
Wednesday, August 16th, (After the “Week of Welcome” College Meeting) – New Students Welcome and orientation meeting.
(This meeting was originally scheduled for August 21st, but it has been moved due to the solar eclipse!)
Tuesday, Aug 22 4:30 pm (Experimental Theatre) – Majors Meeting
Auditions
Wednesday, Aug 23
6:30 pm – 7:15pm New Majors Auditions (Baseline Assessment) Students will be required 2 contrasting monologues and 16 bars of a song of your choice. Please bring your resume. If you are a productions student please bring your resume and any photos you may have of your previous work. Like the audition, the interview will be brief. On Monday Aug 21 at the new majors meeting we will go over all the information you will need for the process.
7:15-10:30 Returning majors and interested students: Students will be required 2 contrasting monologues and 16 bars of a song

The Miracle Worker rehearsals begin.
The sign-up schedule for audition times will be posted in the Green Room. Please use the 6th Ave Entrance. You must have a current Student ID Card for card reader to enter the building. (Take the door to your immediate right as you enter the building. As you go thru the door directly in front of you is a corridor. The Green Room is the door on your right past the loading dock doors to your right.)
