Steve Winn Memorial Scholarship Deadline Announced for Fall 2020

The Steve Winn Memorial Scholarship is intended to support outstanding students while honoring the life and work of Dr. Winn. Recipients of this award must be full time, returning undergraduate or graduate students majoring in Sociology who have done outstanding work in the areas of sociological theory and or social stratification. To be considered for this
scholarship, students must submit the following materials to the Department of Sociology and Anthropology no later than November 2, 2020:

• A paper on sociological theory and or social stratification
• An explanation to why and how the paper meets the scholarship criteria (approximately half a page)
• A CV or resume
• A letter of support from at least one faculty member
