Postdoctoral positions available

Two postdoctoral fellow positions are available at the Marshall Institute for Interdisciplinary Research (MIIR) to study the role of pumping and non-pumping functions of the Na+,K+-ATPase in cell biology and animal physiology, and to develop novel ligands of the receptor Na+, K+-ATPase. MIIR investigators engaging these lines of research include Drs. Isabel Larre, Jiang Liu, Sandrine Pierre, Joseph I. Shapiro, Jinsong Hao, and Zijian Xie.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with access to all MIIR investigators and their collaborators. MIIR is committed to the career development of its members.

Requirements: Ph.D., M.D., or Pharm.D. Experience in either signal transduction, cell biology/biochemistry/molecular biology, protein structures or drug development is essential. Candidates with experience in live cell imaging and/or animal physiology are especially encouraged to apply.

Salary:  commensurate with qualifications and experience
