We are here to cheer you on in your successes and be there for you when things get challenging. We’ll be behind you on your best days and in front of you on your worst. And we’ll always keep your dreams in our sight-lines.
The Office of Student Success oversees five programs that support students’ academic well-being. Three of these programs involve mentoring: EDGE (Explore. Design. Graduate. Empower), FAM (Friend At Marshall) and HPP (the Herd Path Program). The other two involve classroom support: SI (Supplemental Instruction) and UNI 104 (Alternative Suspension).
In addition, the Office of Student Success oversees initiatives developed in response to problems we observe. For example, we can assist students who have trouble accessing textbooks or required course materials and help students who have had a rough start to salvage the semester.
Finally, the Office of Student Success partners with other campus programs to increase student retention, persistence and graduation. One of our strongest programs on campus is First2.
