Technology Tools for Teaching

Technology Tools for Teaching sessions (T3) can be either an introduction or a refresher on many of the common technologies available to faculty and instructors on campus and are designed to illustrate how one might integrate them into online (asynchronous), virtual (synchronous), hybrid, HyFlex, and/or traditional courses. Spring 2023

Best Practices in HyFlex

Session focus:  While HyFlex (or hybrid – flexible) course design predates the educational pivot that resulted because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is a term that has since gained popularity. It is also a concept with multiple definitions. Participants in this session will explore best practices surrounding HyFlex course design.

Session focus:  This session will focus on incorporating course technology options (such as laptops, Grammarly, and other vendor technologies) to support student success and engagement​.

Session focus:  This session will focus on course and classroom management and utilizing Teams and/or Blackboard to best meet learning objectives and support student success.
