Lecture Abstract:

Dr. Rachael Peckham will reflect on her experience as Marshall University’s 2020-2021 Hedrick Teaching Fellow. As part of the fellowship, Dr. Peckham led an interdisciplinary Faculty Learning Community (FLC) focused on the teaching of communication fluency, one of the university’s Baccalaureate Degree Profile (BDP) Outcomes. Dr. Peckham will highlight the group’s discoveries toward communication fluency, present some best teaching practices, and take questions about the process and professional development opportunities involved in the Hedrick Teaching Fellowship.
