Spring Football Game in the Joan!

April 20th, 4pm! Come play with us!

All high school seniors interested in playing with the Marching Thunder can join us.

We invite you to come spend the afternoon with us in the Joan C. Edwards Stadium to experience some game day excitement. Kickoff for the spring game starts at 4pm and we will being playing music during the game and at halftime (no marching for this one). All high school seniors are more than welcome to join us, especially if  you are interested in being in the Marching Thunder in the fall. This is for any woodwinds, brass, percussion, color guard, or majorettes.

We will meet at 3:00 in the Henderson Center Band Room (room 1002) to play through some music and possibly the National Anthem. No rehearsal, no expectations. Just come and have a good time.

The game will last approximately 2 hours, as it will be a running clock with quarter breaks and halftime. All you have to do is bring your instrument and wear green and/or white. Preferably Marshall gear.

If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Christopher Schletter, Director of Athletic Bands at Marshall University.
