TRACE (Teaching, Research, and Community Engagement) Tuesday is a day of presentations and sessions devoted to a focus on faculty. All Marshall University faculty are invited to attend. Presentations will highlight the work of several distinguished faculty members, including several award-winning faculty members. The day will end with an informational session about community engagement.

Completion of a Critical Thinking (CT) workshop is required for any faculty scheduled to teach a CT-designated course. This asynchronous, online workshop consists of seven individual seminars, one per day, and follow-up assignments. Following the conclusion of the workshop, participants will have two weeks to submit the required documents to complete their certification.

Are you already WAC certified? For previously certified faculty, WAC Certification Option A enables faculty to designate their courses as Writing Intensive (WI) without submitting a course syllabus every time. Obtaining certification under Option A requires a portfolio submission. This session is designed to help previously certified WAC faculty to compile their portfolios for certification under Option A.
