Faculty and Students from Marshall Geology Department participated in the Geological Society of America joint southeastern and north-central section meeting held in Cincinnati, OH, April 5 – 7, through two presentations:
- Matt Shafer (class of Fall 21) and Prof. Mike Caudill presented a poster titled: LOSS Slake Index Of An Upper Pennsylvanian Mudrock, Appalachian Plateau, West Virginia
- Aley El-Shazly, Breana Felix (class of 2012), Rose Willard (class of 2020), and Paul Summers (class of 2023) delivered an oral presentation titled: Petrology And Geochemistry Of The Little Pine Garnet Mine Schists, Western Blue Ridge
