Marshall University does not ban books! The information is provided to let people know what has been banned/challenged elsewhere.

Challenged as a text in Salem (MI) High School Advanced Placement English courses due to the book’s sexual content. Superintendent Jeremy Hughes immediately pulled the book, but later decided to put the book through the district’s review process. The book was reviewed and retained.
