Banned Books 2016 – Amityville

Marshall University does not ban books! The information is provided to let people know what has been banned/challenged elsewhere.

2016

Challenged at the Wake County (NC) schools because a parent charged the graphic novel “was talking about a man who murders his family and shows a man walking with his shotgun going to his parents and his sister and brother.” The book is listed at an interest level for grades three through six, and a reading level for grades two through three.
