Marshall University does not ban books! The information is provided to let people know what has been banned/challenged elsewhere.

Banned from the curriculum in Puerto Rican public high schools along with four other books because of coarse language. Written by one of Latin America’s most prominent contemporary writers, the novel contains a brief romantic encounter beneath a crucifix.
