Banned Books 2017 – First French Kiss

Marshall University does not ban books! The information is provided to let people know what has been banned/challenged elsewhere.

Challenged, but retained on the Taunton (MA) High School optional ninth-grade summer reading list despite a parent’s complaint that it was “sexually explicit.” The book is written for grades 7-12 and discusses key topics such as “character and values” and “culture and diversity.”
