Banned Books 2008 – Open Minds to Equality: A Sourcebook of Learning Activities to Affirm Diversity and Promote Equality

Challenged at the publicly funded Waterloo, Kitchner (Ontario, Canada) Catholic School District because it presents homosexuality as “morally neutral.” The book is used as an optional resource for teachers and students never see the book. A citizen’s organization in Kitchner (Defend Traditional Marriage and Family) objected because the book could lead people “to reject scriptural teaching on homosexual acts.”
