The Preventive Maintenance Shop performs most of the preventive maintenance tasks such as filter changes, greasing, and belt replacements associated with equipment across campus buildings. This equipment includes air handling units, exhaust fans, heating hot water and chilled water pumps, and air compressors. The PM Shop staff handle most of the repair work such as replacing motors and bearings in equipment upon failures. They also provide service to our emergency power systems backup generators.
