Student Internship Information

The goal of the W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communications (SOJMC) internship program is to help you develop professional skills in your field of study and prepare you for a career in journalism or mass communications. Here you can find internship information to help you get started on your internship experience. It takes three steps to get a SOJMC-approved internship. Here is how the program works:

Step 1: Find an internship

The Marshall School of Journalism and Mass Communications does not place you in an internship. We want you to find an internship that fits your particular life circumstances and meets your personal career goals. To begin looking for an internship, access your Handshake account with Marshall Career Education. Handshake has a listing of currently open internships with one-click access to apply.
