The Marshall Band Department consists of the Marching Thunder, Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, and the 6th Man Band.  Whether you enjoy the roar of the crowd on game day or playing that beautiful Grainger melody on the stage, or both, with so many options we have a place for you.

How to Join Our Concert Bands

Our concert bands are open to any student on campus regardless of major. We hold simple chair placement auditions the first week of classes or if you would prefer to not audition at all, you can simply sign up for Symphonic Band!
