Middle schoolers at the Heart of Appalachia Talent Search (HATS) Middle School Camp had a blast—literally—thanks to Dr. Sachiko McBride, Physics Professor at Marshall University!
Dr. McBride led an exciting Rocket and Planetarium Workshop where students explored the physics behind rocket launches and then built and launched their own rockets outside. Afterward, they ventured into the stars with a session in the portable planetarium.
From hands-on engineering to cosmic exploration, it was a stellar day of science, learning, and fun!
