Assistant Professor Stephen Deterding from Mathematics proudly represented the College of Science at the West Virginia Makes Festival, hosted by the Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center.
Dr. Deterding displayed a collection of 3D-printed quadric surface models he designed for his Calculus III class. The models serve as tools to help students visualize and explore complex mathematical shapes.
By blending innovation, technology, and education, Dr. Deterding is helping bring math to life in a whole new dimension.
