Biology majors Bennett Luo, Cooper Tatterson, and David McGraw visited Southside Elementary School on March 27 as part of the school’s Mad Scientist Day. The students, who are also members of Marshall University’s BS/MD program and Science Olympiad at MU, led hands‑on science activities for second graders.

During the visit, the students shared engaging physics demonstrations and helped students craft their own kazoos. The activities sparked excitement and curiosity, giving elementary students a fun and memorable introduction to science.
