Job Title:
Student Maintenance Assistant position
Summary:
A Student Maintenance Assistant (SMA) is a student position with a focus of providing, consistent, quality service to all members of the campus community.
Employment Period:
Duration of employment will be from Monday, April 29th to Sunday, August 19
Job Functions:
Perform various maintenance tasks assigned by supervisors in Memorial Student Center, Athletics, Housing & Residence Life, and First Year Residence Halls. Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Painting
- Moving furniture
- General landscaping and grounds keeping
- Trash Removal
- Pressure washing
- Event and A/V set-up
- Cleaning residence hall rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Assist housekeeping, general building maintenance, and landscaping with assignments over the summer in other areas as needed.
- Other tasks as assigned
Hours per Week:
Minimum 20 hours – maximum 37.5 per week
Monday through Friday, varies (some evenings/weekends dependent upon placement)
Pay:
$10.00 per Hour
Additional benefits:
On-campus housing, available for free (must work a minimum of 30 hours per week to receive this benefit)
Housing ends August 1st, if you are not living in the Residence Halls for Fall 2024.
