Pulled from a senior English honors class in the Troy (PA) Area School District after parent objections. The objections concerned material of a sexual nature in the book that the parents deemed inappropriate.
2009
Removed from a Cleburne (TX) summer reading list for a dual credit high school English class because the novel contains a rape scene and passages of explicit sex.
