Physics students explore the night sky with Astronomy Club

Share

Clear skies made for a perfect evening as members of the Marshall University Astronomy Club gathered on Buskirk Field for stargazing, conversation, and celestial discovery. The club’s donated Tele Vue-85 telescope was joined by several personal telescopes, giving students plenty of opportunities to explore the night sky.

Interested in astronomy? The club meets in Room 179 of the Science Building before heading outside for observing sessions and other astronomy-related activities. The next stargazing night is scheduled for Sept. 23, offering another chance to connect with fellow skywatchers and experience the wonders of the universe.
