Supplemental Instruction Sessions

Supplemental Instruction (SI) Sessions are tutoring opportunities that are directly tied to your individual course, if offered. These are available for some sections of Biology, Chemistry, Math, and Physics courses. SI Sessions are led by a student who has passed the class and sits in the lecture with you. They provide a designated day and time where you are able to ask questions or get additional help. They know exactly what you’re learning in the class during each meeting! These sessions are not required, but they are strongly recommended. See your syllabus and schedule to see if you are in a section that offers SI Sessions.

Office Hours

Office hours are designated times when a professor is available to meet with students outside of class. They are an opportunity to ask questions, get clarification on course material, receive feedback on assignments, and get additional support. Office hours will be posted on your syllabus.
