Chemistry lab manager Ed Lukhmanov receives John Marshall Service Award

Ed Lukhmanov, academic laboratory manager for the Department of Chemistry in the College of Science, has been named a recipient of the John Marshall Service Award for university staff.

Lukhmanov was recognized for going above and beyond his regular duties to support the department. Through careful management and problem solving, he has helped save the Department of Chemistry thousands of dollars while playing a key role in keeping both teaching and research laboratories operating smoothly and safely.

A proud Marshall graduate, Lukhmanov earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemistry at the university. His dedication to students, faculty, and the institution reflects a deep commitment to Marshall and to the success of the College of Science.
