Biology student earns prestigious national research fellowship

Vinu Chandrasekar, a pre‑medicine and biology major in Marshall University’s College of Science, has been selected for the American Physiological Society’s Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF). Chandrasekar will participate in the highly competitive national program while conducting hands‑on physiology research alongside Dr. Pierre.
