Mathematics and Physics to sponsor international statistics conference at Marshall University

Marshall University’s Department of Mathematics and Physics will host the fifth International Conference on Statistical Distributions and Applications (ICOSDA 2026) Oct. 8-10 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in downtown Huntington.

The conference will bring together statisticians, data scientists, mathematicians, and researchers from around the world to share advances in statistical distributions, data science, artificial intelligence, and related fields. The program will feature keynote and plenary lectures, invited and contributed sessions, topical presentations, and a student poster session.
