Physics students share views of Saturn during campus stargazing event

Members of the Marshall University Astronomy Club recently welcomed students to an evening of stargazing on campus, offering a close-up look at Saturn through the club’s LX200 telescope.

The event gave Astronomy Club members and passersby alike the opportunity to explore the night sky and observe one of the solar system’s most recognizable planets. The informal viewing session helped introduce students to astronomy while encouraging curiosity about space and science.

The Astronomy Club regularly hosts observing events and educational activities that connect students with hands-on astronomy experiences outside the classroom.
