Office of Nationally Competitive Awards and International Engagement

The Office of Nationally Competitive Awards and International Engagement (NCAIE) at Marshall University is housed in the Honors College. The office supports students across the university as they pursue highly competitive national and international scholarships, fellowships, and grants, including opportunities such as the Fulbright, Boren, and Gates Cambridge. NCAIE helps students identify opportunities that align with their interests and goals, stay informed about deadlines, and navigate demanding application processes with confidence.

In addition to its work with nationally competitive awards, NCAIE also supports Honors College initiatives related to international engagement, high-impact educational opportunities, and partnership-based programming involving students and faculty across the university. This includes work supporting the Honors College’s WV–Ireland Transatlantic Partnership and related international initiatives that advance the college’s broader strategic priorities. Marshall’s WV–Ireland work links students, faculty, and partner institutions through education, research, and cultural exchange.
