Family Medicine to host HERO Fest health and wellness activities for entire family

Marshall Family Medicine’s Health Education Resource Office will host its inaugural HERO Fest, a health and wellness event for the entire family, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at Ritter Park.

The event will feature a free, fun-filled day of interactive learning and wellness activities for families, children and adults of all ages. Participants will learn how to improve their family’s health and well-being in areas like nutrition and exercise, poison control, water and sunscreen safety, fire safety and more.

HERO Fest will offer bounce houses, a dunk tank, games and giveaways. A free, healthy family-style picnic will also be provided. Batman and friends and Marshall University athletes will make special guest appearances during the event.

HERO Fest is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Raymond Cousins at Marshall Family Medicine at 304-691-1100.
