e-Learning

While we offer thorough and industry-leading courses here at Marshall University, we encourage our students to look for opportunities outside of the classroom to continue their growth.

Available to Marshall Students

Currently, Marshall Students under the Institute for Cyber Security have access to two external learning resources, Cyberbit’s Cyber Range and LinkedIn Learning.

Cyberbit’s Cyber Range

Cyberbit provides a hyper-realistic cyber range and cyber labs, empowering higher education leaders to produce next-generation cyber security graduates, equipped with the skills that their future employers need.

Cyberbit is utilized in the classroom environment for supplemental hands-on learning exercises by our professors to give students access to industry-standard tools.

LinkedIn Learning

With hundreds of hours of training, certificates, courses, and quizzes, LinkedIn Learning has a lot to offer for our students. There are hundreds of video tutorials of forensic tools, forensic best practices, network security training, and more.

Easily accessible through each student’s MyMU, LinkedIn Learning provides great supplemental education options for our students in and out of the classroom. Certificates earned by competing courses in LinkedIn Learning can be displayed on a student’s LinkedIn page, giving employers a look into the skills and competency of our students.
