Environmental science is a broad field and a BS in Geography is one entry path. Environmental specialists take courses in the natural sciences such as biology, chemistry, geology, physics, and physical geography. Students also need a background in Geographic Information Science (GIScience) and data analysis. Similarly, conservationists and foresters use remote sensing such as satellite images and drone photos along with GIScience to perform their job functions.
