H.E.L.P. Fees

College H.E.L.P.

College HELP fees are based on the number of hours of tutoring/week a student registers for each semester.

1 hour of tutoring per week for the 14-16 week semester

  • WV Resident $450/hour
  • Metro Student $500/hour
  • Non-WV Resident $650.00/hour

If students drop courses or decide they no longer need the hours they signed up for, The HELP Program will credit* students for hours dropped according to the following schedule:

  • 100% Credit Drop by Monday of Week 1 of the semester
  • 90% Credit Drop by Friday of Week 1 of the semester
  • No credit After Week 1 of the semester

Proper procedures for add/drop of tutoring hours must be followed. See Sara Barker or Diane Williams for information. Tutoring hours added after the beginning of the semester are prorated.
