Session Title: Interdisciplinary Collaboration & Community Engagement to Promote Student Success

Abstract: Success for healthcare professions students requires opportunities for collaboration and the ability to translate knowledge and skills to a real world setting. We present four innovative teaching experiences that aim to help students achieve greater success: Interdisciplinary Consultation, Interprofessional Education (IPE), Marshall Medical Outreach (MMO), and Senior Fest. These provide students with hands-on training in working with other professions through simulated and actual clinical care.
