Boredom Buster – Student Engagement Activities!

Abstract:
Does student boredom have you bummed? Student engagement and motivation are two key components to their success! Come participate in and learn how to use a variety of strategies to engage your students during class and motivate them to learn your content! Multiple strategies will be covered – Plickers, Edpuzzle, Padlet, and PearDeck! Audience participation will have you interacting with each tool from the students’ perspective, but also leaving with the skills to design your own learning activities with each tool, as well. Enjoy a day of high-energy professional development and leave with ideas to into increase your students’ classroom engagement immediately!
