Using and Abusing ChatGPT in the Classroom

Abstract:
This presentation will examine the use and abuse of the ChatGPT language model in university classes. The primary focus will be on how ChatGPT can be utilized as a tool for enhancing student learning and engagement, as well as the ethical considerations surrounding its use. The presentation will also explore potential abuses of the model, such as plagiarism and cheating, and discuss strategies for preventing and addressing these issues.
