Abstract:
Spaced Practice is defined as practicing or studying over time instead of in a large chunk of time. This workshop will review the cognitive science behind spaced practice, provide an example of how spaced practice was incorporated into the pharmacy skills lab sequence for pharmacy calculations and provide an opportunity for attendees to start to develop a plan for spaced practice in their own courses and discipline areas.
Session type: Panel/Interactive Presentation, Hybrid (virtual live stream and face-to-face)
Key words: Spaced practice, cognitive science
