The Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) is partnering with The Rec to provide a nationally recognized Group Fitness Instructor certification led by a certified instructor in a hybrid (virtual and in-person) format. This 5-week course, normally priced at $599 is only $400 for students and $500 for non-students/community members.
This course will include:
-AFAA Group Fitness Instructor Textbook (digital content and hard copy)
-Chapter-by-chapter online courses
-Quizzes and reviews of each chapter
-AFAA GFI practice exam
-AFAA GFI Exam (remote or at a testing facility)
-AFAA GFI Retest Voucher
Course Dates: October 4th – November 5th
Registration: August 16th – September 26th
Student Rate: $400
Non-Student Rate: $500
This course meets once per week from October 4th – November 5th. Weekly meetings are scheduled in advance and will be either in-person at The Rec or virtually on Zoom.
