Join the action-packed Healthy Herd Youth Camp for exciting games, activities, and swimming. Energetic counselors mentor and coach kids aged 5-12 in a safe environment. CAMP TIMES:
Monday-Friday | 9am-4pm
- Camp programming will begin at 9pm. Please drop your campers off between 8:30am – 9:00am if you are not utilizing Before and After Care.
- Our camp day will end at 4pm. Please have your camper picked up by 4:30pm if you are not enrolled in our Before and After Care program.

ENROLLMENT PACKET:
All campers must have the completed registration paperwork on file at the Marshall Rec Center. All paperwork is due prior to the child’s first day of camp. Completed paperwork should be dropped off at the Rec Center, mailed or emailed to reccamps@marshall.edu.

Immerse yourself in a symphony of sensory experiences! Campers will engage their senses of sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell through interactive activities, experiments, and creative workshops, exploring the world through a multisensory lens.
Enter the magical world of Disney! Campers will be whisked away on enchanting adventures inspired by classic Disney stories and characters. From fairy tales to animated wonders, it’s a week of imagination and wonder.
Get ready to dive deep into fun! This week, campers will explore the wonders of the ocean through exciting activities, imaginative crafts, and games inspired by life under the sea. Join us for a week of underwater adventure and creativity!
Campers run away with the circus for a week of circus-themed fun and excitement. Workshops focus on circus skills such as juggling, clowning, acrobatics, and tightrope walking. Each day features circus performances, talent shows, and opportunities for campers to showcase their newfound skills.
Unleash your inner mad scientist and dive into a world of wacky experiments, electrifying discoveries, and chaotic concoctions! Campers will embark on a journey of scientific exploration where the only limit is their imagination. From fizzing potions to zapping contraptions, get ready for a whirlwind adventure into the realm where science meets madness!

Time to channel your inner explorer! Join us in a journey around the world learning about the different sports, cultures, and exploring some of the wonders from our friends that live in other parts of the world. Campers will embark on this journey and learn more about the beauty that our home has to offer!
Get ready to get wet and wild at our Water Wars summer camp! Campers will engage in a variety of water-based activities, games, and challenges, from water balloon fights to slip-and-slide competitions. Each day will be filled with excitement and laughter as the kids cool off and have fun in the sun.
Explore the mysteries of outer space and beyond at our Out of this World summer camp! Campers will learn about the solar system, galaxies, and the wonders of the universe through hands-on activities, games, and interactive educational sessions. Each day will be filled with adventure and learning as the kids discover the mysteries of the universe and the possibilities of space exploration.
Get ready to go for the gold! Campers will participate in their very own Olympic Games, competing in a variety of sports and challenges inspired by the spirit of the Olympic movement. It’s a week of teamwork, sportsmanship, and athletic fun.
Step into the spotlight and become a contestant in the ultimate game show extravaganza! Campers will experience the thrill of game show competitions, from trivia challenges to physical feats, as they compete for prizes and bragging rights in a week filled with excitement and fun.

The Healthy Herd Youth Camp operates as a licensed childcare facility within the state of West Virginia. Please note that we have a max capacity of 90 campers that we can accept per week. Once we have met that number, we will no longer be able to take additional registrations. If the registration packet is not properly filled out, then the Healthy Herd Youth Camp might not be able to take responsibility for your child. Certain parts of the packet will require information from your camper’s health care provider. Before a camper is eligible to attend a day of camp the registration packet must be filled out and submitted, in its entirety. If there is any documentation you would like to see or if you have any questions pertaining to the license, please reach out directly to the Camp Director, Zach Kula.
