Past Visiting Scholars Biography
Dr. Ekaterina Zarutckaia, or ‘Kate’, a senior lecturer from St. Petersburg University in Russia, joined the Honors College for the 2022 Fall Semester as a Fulbright Faculty Development grantee. Zarutckaia studied critical thinking courses, especially those that help students foster development of critical thinking skills and dispositions. While in the U.S., Zarutckaia gathered theoretical resources, linguistic materials and cultural resources, which she’s taken back to students and colleagues in Russia.
