In addition to one of several incoming, first-year merit-based scholarships administered by the university’s Office of Student Financial Assistance (SFA), students admitted to Marshall University who are also admitted to the Honors College (either by the invitation or holistic review pathways) qualify to receive the annual Honors Scholarship of $500/year. The award itself must be accepted when offered by SFA on or before 15 May 2023. The Honors Scholarship does not require a separate application for students admitted to the Honors College.
